PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the Analysis of software applications and computer systems Will modify and create test scripts, cases and plans to support software testing activities Will perform software testing of software applications and computer systems based on defined requirements Will meet with Business Analysts and End Users to define, document and review functional and technical requirements SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILL SETS Proficient XML Testing capabilities related to testing of SOA systems Strong experience with SQL Experience with. TIBCO or similar business process management products Experience with testing messaging software Experience with DOORS for functional requirements Experience with Quality Center for test case management and defect tracking Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies Must possess excellent documentation and QA methodology skills as they relate to Test Planning, Design, Execution and Results analysis Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Excellent Analysis, Problem Solving, Time Management Skills Must possess experience performing structured quality assurance analyst duties including, but not limited to the following:Requirements analysis and decomposition of test-related tasks Test Design and Test Plan development Writing and executing of Test Cases Manual Test Execution Data Validation Defect Tracking; entry and reporting Test Status & Metrics Reporting

QA/Automation Engineer II participates in application analysis, regression framework design, automation framework development, script development, execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users. Required Skills:- Knowledge of Web, SOA, JAVA, ETL based applications- Strong skills in automation tools: QTP, Selenium, TestNG- Intermediate programming skills in JAVA, VB- Intermediate scripting skills in VBScript, PHP, J/Ruby- Automation framework development experience- Intermediate SQL skills in Oracle, Sybase, MS-Access- Intermediate Unix and Windows skills- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Strong communication Skills Must Have's:Candidate with strong QTP, QC, BP, VBScript, SQL desired. Candidate should have direct work experience in design and development of automation frameworks. Knowledge of JAVA, UNIX and Windows.

QA Testing Analyst II acts as a key participant and leads in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users. Primarily an understanding of financial data, the ability to design and perform queries, and strong test artifact management skills via Quality Center or Clearquest. Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL (mandatory)User training experience is preferred.
